Liberty Sailing Tours is a proudly 100% Belizean-owned company, born from the dream of a young visionary, Darvin Torres. At just 15 years old, Darvin imagined his future sharing the natural wonders of Belize with the world. By age 17, he turned that dream into reality, offering small fishing and overnight camping trips from Consejo Village in the Corozal District to Bacalar Chico.
As word spread and demand grew, Darvin expanded his offerings to include unforgettable snorkeling adventures at Turneffe Atoll Cayes, encounters with marine life at Shark Ray Alley, and private escapes to San Pedro Island. Recognizing the potential of Belize’s tourism industry, Darvin became a certified tour guide and boat captain at a remarkably young age.
Today, with over 20 years of experience navigating Belize’s waters and guiding guests through its rich marine ecosystems, Darvin remains the heart and soul of Liberty Sailing Tours.
